RESPONSE ACT NOTICE
Applications
DBA Application: $10.00 fee
Marriage Application: Both applicants must appear in person, one must be a resident of Arenac County or both must be from out of state. An application is filled out then typed on an Affidavit, which will be notarized so bring ID. Applicants must be 18 years old or have parental consent. Filing fee is $20.00.
The cost of a certified copy of a Birth, Death, or Marriage Certificate is $15 for the first copy of each requested record type and $5 per each additional copy of the requested record purchased at same time. Please note that due to regulations changes, if you are unable to answer the protected information portions on the application for Certified copies of Birth, Death, or Marriage Certificates you can only receive a redacted copy for specified use only that will conceal the protected information that you were not able to answer. Please make sure you request a full or specified use certificate when making your request.

Recall Procedures
Election Training/Certification Classes
For anyone needing certified and/or trained to work the August or November 2020 elections, Arenac County will be offering Training at the following Locations/Dates/Times:
Election Worker Certification Training:
Location: Deep River Hall, Sterling, MI
Times:
- October 7, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
- October 8, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
- October 14, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
- October 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m.
It will be held in the large room of the Hall to allow for Social Distancing, please bring/wear a mask, if you do not have one, I will bring as many extras as I am able.

Local Clerks please contact the Clerk's office with numbers of Election workers needed.
Local Clerks/Public please contact the Clerk's office or your Local Clerk and notify of interest to attend so we may set up accordingly.
PUBLIC ACCURACY
Public Accuracy will be held at Standish City Hall. It will consist of two days with two sessions per day and a maximum of four jurisdictions per session.
The dates scheduled are October 21 and October 22 with times being 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
If you are interested in attending a certain jurisdictions Public Accuracy, please contact either the Jurisdiction or County Clerk to find time scheduled. This testing falls under the Open Meetings Act.
