Affordable, accessible spay and neuter services for Arenac County residents through our partnership with All About Animals Rescue.

About the Program 

We are proud to offer low-cost spay and neuter services through our 2026 Transport Program. This program helps reduce pet overpopulation while making essential veterinary care more accessible to our community.

Pricing & Services

 

Spay / Neuter Surgeries 

  • Dog (male or female): $150  

  • Cat (male or female): $50  

  • Feral/Barn Cat: $25

  •  Caregiver must attend TNR class for $25 pricing

 Dog Add-On Services 

  • Rabies Vaccine – $20  

  • Heartworm Preventative (single dose) – $10  

  • Heartworm Test – $30  

  • Bordetella – $20  

  • Distemper (DHPP/DHLPP) – $20  

  • Lyme Vaccine – $30 

 Cat Add-On Services 

  • Rabies Vaccine – $20  

  • Distemper (FVRCP) – $20  

  • Feline Leukemia (FeLV) – $20  

  • FeLV/FIV Combo Test – $35 

 Additional Services (Dogs & Cats) 

  • Flea Preventative (single dose) – starting at $12  

  • Microchip – $25  

  • Cardboard Pet Carrier – $5

Kittens / Puppies 101 – $20

  • Rabies + Distemper + FeLV + Dewormer 

 Important Pricing Notes 

  • Pets not already spayed/neutered:  

  • Add $10 per cat vaccine  

  • Add $20 per dog vaccine  

  • Surcharge can be credited toward sterilization 

 How to Register 

Step 1: Register In Person

Step 2: Complete Required Paperwork 
All paperwork must be completed at the shelter during registration. 

Step 3: Payment Required 
Payment must be made at the time of registration to secure your spot. Payment must be paid in cash. Checks, Credit Cards not accepted.

  • Registration opens exactly one-month prior to transport  

  • First come, first served  

  • No payment = no reservation  

  • Limited spots available
